Did Heather and Leta put you in the corner? Old Navy and Brownies on her site and bricks on yours…
Is there a shit theme going on here? Where that came from I don’t know. Bust out the tucks just to be safe.

  • aibee

    I like it.

I like that you can take a picture of something so mundane and make it look so exceptional.

Masonry: Reminds me of the godson, Mason MichaelAngelo.

I read an article in Discover magazine about how thats what our actual field of vision is like, and how the darting of the eyes and our memories create the perception that we can see more.

Why not photos of Leta? Clearly, we are all obsessed.

It’s bad enough that these doting parentsí lives revolve around the little bald lady who is un-doubtfully a darling baby. Let them think that they can have normal adult lives by posting something that is not about her every now and then. Oh Jon, could you tell Lady Dooce-in-Hopper that there has not been enough bad words and bad behavior over at Dooce World. Glad she is feeling better. And you too.

did you go to the same photography school of thought as my husband? We have tons of cool pictures of mundane things– plants, grates, sides of buildings, that somehow he makes look cool.

My husband used to take pictures of his huge dumps too. But that was in college and with someone elses camera.

    Nice photo!
BTW – glad to hear that the procedure has been reconvened. 7 months and 12 days is a wee bit too long to go without the procedure… ;)

The photo is wonderful, and amen on the bit about the procedure. There is no one more patient or more appreciated than a good husband. I have one. Bless you, Jon.

  • Jessica

The myth that all “procedures” are resumed approximately six weeks after delivery is still tossed about and ingrained into the collective psyche, but largely unsubstanciated by data. Yes, for “some” people it is indeed true, but based on my own experience, not for most.

Thus, a lot of people are under a lot of unnecessary pressure and feel they are terrible people and failing their rÙles as spouses and parents by not feeling up to “proceeduring” like bunnies right away.

Bless Dooce for (again) being brave enough to address an issue that needed addressing, and bless Jon for being man enough to support it. You are both SOOO cool. I am in constant awe.

  • http://whatxthexfuck.blogspot.com Michael Moore

    The procedure has migrated!?

    *GROAN*

  • TheEvilEmpire

The procedure is everywhere. Sooner or later, you will be assimilated. Resistance is futile. Mmmuuuuaaaaahhhhh! :)
