    Good Morning!
Beer for breakfast.……yum! At least Mexico is a good place for that. *sigh* It’s pouring rain and nasty-windy here in Ontario Canada — I would give my left arm to be in Mexico right now with some real guac and Dos Equis, or a Mohito.….at a pool bar or on the beach.….I can feel the sun already.

    *shakes head*

Anyway — seeing as I’m not a guy, I’m not sure if you would appreciate this link Jon:
    http://www.briansbelly.com/beerbelly/tecate.shtml

It seemed like a guy-type link.

    That eagle is very nazi-ish.

Maybe Hitler is in Mexico with Tupac and Biggie.

And ODB. I have to believe.

Tecate is the shiz. People who drink Coronas are silly, silly individuals.

    óC.

Frankly it gets no better than ODB riding in a limo to pick up food stamps while the MTV cameras roll.

    a) beer from a can = wrong
    b) mexican beer = headache
    c) go with european / german / beck’s beer.

that’s what i think.. also, i’m not sure if hitler would get along with tupac and / or biggie..?? maybe of france??

There would probably be be some playfull banter about Hitlers pallid flesh. Then they would all listen to Pacs latest album.

you drank a mexican beer in a chinese restaurant? (at least that looks like a chinese character on that bowl…)

Negro Modelo, anyone? I had to add that, since I live in NEW Mexico — it is truly Mexico, only a bit newer — and Tecate IS without a doubt an acceptable Mexican beer. I had one this summer with a green-chile-cheeseburger and it was mighty fine (in a can, no less).

I’m sure you folks know that the Nazis appropriated the iron eagle from the Roman Empire — it was the ultimate symbol for Imperial State Power. It also represents unity of the state — a veiled warning to dissidents. From that, one can only presume Tecate’s message is “Unite under one beer.” (Note: Tecate was first brewed in 1944. Many a German fled to South America about that time…)

I am going to the Dominican Republic in 11 DAYS, and just so you all know: I will totally be drinking my breakfast. Of course, I will have a few for the BlurboDoocery, my inspiration for blogging.

I really enjoy Negro Modelo Especial straight out of the can– for some reason I feel really trailer park drinking it out of the can, but it taste so good to me. I find that they go really good with regular food, or dessert–

To live that life… By god. I envy you. My breakfast is full of laxatives. Fucking school

My brother tells me that dark ale is the way to go. “Its in your blood Michael. Dont deny it. Get some Irish alcohol when you get the chance”.

I will have to take your word for it being a good beer. Quite frankly, i dont do the beer business–yet. Thats for when you want to drink responsibly. Fuck that shit: this is college. (um… dont read that the wrong way)

The blurbodoocery photos always seem very narrative. Is that the point?

So, did you have a lever and place to stand?

Karen Rani: I live in Edmonton, it was –28c this morn, I’ll take your rain anyday, provided I can have a Tecate to go with it.

    From a Mexicana para ti:

    Try a Michilata

    Some people think a Michilata
    is just a glass with
a salted rim and lime juice poured over ice.
    Here is the real thing!

    1 whole lime
    1/2 lemon
    4 dashes Tabasco
    1 dash salt
    1 dash Lawry’s seasoned salt
    2 pinches pepper
    1 dash Worcestershire
    Tomato juice
Tecate ( or other Mexican beer )

In a chilled pilsner glass with a salted rim,
squeeze in juice from lime and lemon.
Add Tabasco, salts, pepper, and Worcestershire ,
and then fill glass 1/4 full with tomato juice.
Fill the rest of the glass with Tecate
    or other Mexican beer.
Garnish with lime wheel or wedge.

If you’re lazy, we usually just open the can, pour some salt on the rim, drop some Cholula or other salsa picante inside and squeeze some lime in.

    Viva Mexico, nonetheless.

Micheladas (not Michalata) are vile. The poor man’s bloody mary. And that’s coming from another Mexicana. Also, Mojitos (not Mohitos) are Cuban.
