    So since I’m just retarded or something, I can’t figure out how to send an email to Heather, but that’s ok because I’ll just leave a comment here and hope you two get it. I’ve been reading Dooce.com since Leta was born, as the story was linked off defectiveyeti.com and, well, I loved Heather’s writing style so much I’ve been addicted ever since. I guess that’s kind of a creepy thought, that someone would just read your site for almost a year or something and not say anything, but I’m saying something now and I hope that’s ok. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I appreciate both of your blogs a lot, though I have to confess that I ready Dooce more because I’m not as into technology, etc. As much as you can love a family that you’ve never met, I love you guys and hope the upcoming year holds much fun and generally good things. And less people complaining about your parenting style.

    I used to be a school photographer, and we did Santa shoots every xmas. That’s a pretty good lookin Santa if you want my professional opinion. Most kids Leta’s age are oblivious to Santa. around 2-3 yrs, about 75% of kids scream bloody murder. Have fun next year…

    Oh, oh my. Is that a giant bin of candy next to the Persian Santa? It makes you wonder how many kids sat on his lap that day. They really need to come up with some “Santa Sanitaries,” similar to those toilet napkins, that you can put on Santa’s lap before you plop your kid down.
