iTunes Phone

News of the phone surfaced at CES in Las Vegas. I can’t wait to see this phone. Could it be shown at Macworld?

UPDATE: Phone demo apparently pulled from CES.

UPDATE: Photo here (Thanks, Tyler) .

All I know is that I won’t be able to see the keynote address by Steve Jobs.

This Macworld looks to be a biggy, and Steve is taking his ball and going home. Bummer.

I must be a nerd too as I found that information very exciting!

If I was going to Macworld (I wish!) I would wear a big top hat with relevant paraphenalia hidden inside to broadcast to the world!

Yeah, what’s up with the weird punishment crap? Seems unlike him. I wonder if he had a bad day or something.

Also, I was anticipating something a bit more exciting, I must say. Not that this isn’t cool, but it *could* have been even cooler.

    Ditto, mihow.

I might have wet my pants a smidge the other day when Gizmodo posted this:

See, now that’s a bit more like it! Where is the elegant and innovative design Apple has always surprised us with? Given the birth of this design, I’d say Motorola was the dominant gene.

Can you take that phone off any sweet jumps?

more on the design direction to which KARO offers. which goes some ways towards answering *MY* 64-bit questions:
    — Is it an iPod phone (w/ Motorola guts)?
    — Or is it a Motorola device (w/ Apple guts/capabilities)?

I have an impedded [influential technology magazine] geek at CES as we speak. If she’s not too boozied at the quarter craps out front of Slots o Fun to send info, ya’ll here’ll be the 2nd to know.

They just won’t *live* stream the keynote — there will be a downloadable version shortly after it ends, and dozens of in-the-audience play by play bloggers.

They’ve done this before and given the likely enormous surge of interest after the latest iPod spree, it’s probably just a practical decision. Better than thousands of crappy streams..

Jon, this is off your topic a bit, but I am learning how much of a money pit this technology thing is getting to be.

I got one teeny-tiny little MINOLTA XG dImage camera for Christmas, which is easy to use, but difficult to master. Then I needed a Memory Chip that could hold more, and this morning a case because I nearly dropped the thing in the snow when climbing over the guardrail to get a shot of the ice glistening on the chainlink fence.
You must have much history with computers in general and the latest gizmos in particular to be able to explain yourself so well.
For myself, I have to take it just one thing at a time, and hope there comes a day when I can truly understand what you are talking about.
