Middle of the storm

Taken from a car during the crazy flood storm that ruined 60+ houses in Southern Utah.

I have to say that between the cameraphone and flickr, I’m wanting to take and upload photos constantly.

I just bought a USB cable that hooks into my phone and with a hacky freeware app can download photos in OS X. Haven’t tried iSync yet, but it’s getting easier to share my quick shots.

How come your latest posts aren’t showing up on the main page? :\

Yeah, I found this post because I have an RSS Feed, but it’s definitely not displaying on the main page :(

This is a test. I can’t decide if I want these to display on the main page or not…

Hows about emailing them direct from your phone to Flickr? I know I can do this from my phone here in the UK – I create a mms on my phone with the shot, and send via email to Flickr and it pops up direct on my Flickr account (and on my blog when I get round to fixing MT). Instant gratification ;)

    Jen,

I’ve been doing that, but Verizon charges for each photo. They don’t have a plan for all the photos I want to upload. You can do 20 for $4.99, which isn’t really worth it.

    Jon,

I find the love and passion you have for Heather (and choose to share with us) very inspiring. It brings certain relfection to my own thoughts for my husband and our marriage. It was just last night while driving home that I thought GOD I LOVE HIM. It was almost overwhelming. Ok, said I had a shot and a drink BUT I was in full controll of my factulties.
I mean, I know first hand that marriage is not always a walk in the park, but the little things…those extra few kisses, a cuddle here, just a look can make all the difference in the world. Keep on keepin’ on.

This was taken with a camera phone? Which phone is it? The picture looks a lot better than I expect from a phone.

The phone is a VX6000 from LG. Verizon doesn’t carry it anymore, it’s so 2004. It takes good pictures in well-lit scenes. It’s not perfect, but I kind of like the imperfection.

(how come the main page goes to http://www.blurbomat.com/archives/2005/01/13/psa and not to the latest posts? i’ve been missing these awesome photos when i only hit the main blurbomat.com!!!)

I *just* got the new version of that same phone, Jon. I have an LG VX6100, which I think is almost the same with a few very minor differences. I’m enjoying playing with the camera. I think the quality is better than the first digital camera I bought! I have been thinking I should get a USB cable since emailing the pictures is outrageously expensive. Did you buy the USB cable from Verizon?
