Oh and Leta looks JUST like you on Heather’s Daily Photo page. I never saw it in the 35, 681 pictures posted of her before. It took THAT look to see it. You have that look in a lot of the pictures she takes of you. It’s classic!

It’s Pike Place Market, like Mikeg said. The confusion comes through the fact that there is also a pike street, which goes EW from Capitol Hill straight into Pike Place Market. The name Pike Place Market comes from the NS street that runs along the east edge of the market, which is called Pike Place.

Beth, you’re killing me!!! The nut booth on the left, just a bit past the news-stand? The Roasted Jumbo Cashews? I’m living in DelaWhere these days and miss the market mightilly. nothing like that here. What they call a Farmer’s Market around here is nothing more than a bad flea market with a roof.

Mmmmm, two friand from Le Panier, a fresh borek from the turkish place, a mocha from The First Starbucks and a bag of Jumbo Roasted Cashews for the bus ride over to Alki, that would be a good day.

Poor Weasel. I’ll think of you when I go into DeLaurenti’s for fresh bread and gelato, and Taxi Dog for my kosher heart attack in a bun.

Looks similar in quality to some Ektachrome pictures of one of the last games at Comisky Park that I did my brother the favor of developing at home, and then forgot one of the wash steps.

Pike Place, eh? A friend and I are planning a trip to Seattle for the end of April, and the market is on our list of places to explore. Any recommendations, either in the market or in Seattle in general?

It seems strange to me that anyone would be surprised that a person gossiped about at a blog would write the gossip a “personal e-mail”.

It’s the 21st century. A parent can proudly post photos of his or her child in a blog, and honestly, I’ve counted maybe one or two negative comments about Leta to every hundred compliments. I doubt the Armstrongs would raise a child who’s so fragile that she can’t handle that ratio.

And finally, and I wonder this ALL the time, why can’t people who are going to post lengthy anonymous screeds write them in a word-processing program and spell-check them before pasting them into the comments field? It really detracts from the argument when there’s a typo in every third line.

Jon — go ahead and delete my previous post and I guess this one — now that the Suck Post is gone they don’t make sense plus it sounds like Raz is berating me. Which she’s not. Thanks!
