Conspiracy Theory

This is so awesome.

I saw it over the weekend (in the paper we don’t get) when we were visiting family. I’m still reeling. The professor from BYU has done some really slanted research in the past in terms of having a conservative political agenda and because of that history, I was blown away that he is playing it this way. Plus, cold fusion. Awesome.

That is pretty screwy. What a whacko…

If you look at http://www.wimp.com you’ll find a video about conspiracy theories about President Bush’s administration. Plus they always a have a large assortment of funny videos too.

Yeah, I already blogged about it. And heaven forbid that you should even TOUCH a Deseret News!

  • http://www.barrettchase.com barrett

Wow. To click on a link and run into news involving Jim Fetzer (I’m from Duluth, same as he) is pretty mind blowing. He also believes that Sen. Paul Wellstone was murdered by operatives who used electromagnetic pulse technology to bring down his plane.

    Wow. Just wow.

I need to stop reading your site and concentrate on, oh I don’t know, graduating college.

i need to have an structural engineer read that. and i would love to read a rebuttal.

Whoa, I think my head might explode.

My husband is a survivor who worked in 2 WTC (north tower-90th floor). I love a good conspiracy theory and it brings me joy to find more reasons to hate Bush and hold him and his cronies responsible for all things currently worse-off in the world.

Overlooked in the conspiracy is that the buildings were constructed out of spit and cardboard like most building built the early 1970’s. Ask anyone who worked there, or grew up in NYC in the 70ís watching the building being built. I live in a 35-story high-rise apartment building built in the same era as WTC. Structural problems in these tall building are rampart from that era. This is probably the reason why it did not take too much for them to implode, when the planes exploded inside them.

The first bombing in the 1990’s took place in the sub-sub basement garage. Could it be molten metal from that bombing? Like many I believe that the steel and concrete was inferior grade used to construct the buildings, maybe those smart ìevil doersî knew how inferior the materials were used in the construction. I think the terrorist got a much bigger bang for their buck and were only looking for a couple of
airplane crashes into the towers not an implosion of the building.

At this point, politically how those building fell does not matter (even though Bush still loves a good spin for his war mongering and robbing our rights). However, weíre left with a hole in the ground, hole in our hearts and the worldís biggest asshole in the Whitehouse.

I really *want* to think that our government wouldn’t do something like this to us, but then I have to remember who we’re talking about.

I thought all good Mormons were required to subscribe to the Deseret News?

  • http://www.isoglossia.com s gazzetti

I’m a slut for a good conspiracy theory, and any one that contains supporting evidence based on salmon-colored slag has my support automatically.

And if his cold, erm, metal-catalyzed fusion thing works out, all that Iraqi black gold in Cheney’s secret, undisclosed-location storage tanks will be worthless.

I ran across this article in Popular Mechanics (through The Morning News–see link below) a few weeks ago. It pretty systematically debunks many of the conspiracy theories that are mentioned by Jones, including the one about explosives being set up before the planes crashed into the buildings.

I’m with dewi on this one and completely agree with her last paragraph. We don’t need a conspiracy to know that our administration took one of the greatest tragedies in American history, and twisted it to achieve their own agendas.

I don’t generally get into conspiracy theories, but my cousin loves ‘em. He’ll generally tell me all about them, and I’ll listen politely. But WTC 7 collapsing perfectly, even though it was not hit, changes my mind.

My cousin also has a friend that is ex-military demolition (who also doesn’t get into conspiracy theories) and this friend says the only way WTC 7 could have collapsed into the neat little footprint it did was by explosives set in advance.

The site http://www.wtc7.net talks about this building’s collapse exclusively. And I think it helps to reiterate: No building has ever collapsed due to fire. There have been skyscraper fires all over the world that have burned for days and it only gutted them, no collapse.

For what it’s worth, I worked in Jersey City in the mid ‘90s during and after the trial of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman. He was the mastermind behind the ’93 WTC bombing. At his trial, he and his supporters were quoted as saying “next time, we’re taking those buildings down.” He had a mosque in the Jersey City neighborhood where I worked and it was well known that the group there was very anti-American, this in a city shadowed by the twin towers.

I wonder who funds Scholars for 9/11 truth.

.…if this were being put forward by someone other than a conservative mormon, i’d be more skeptical than i am! by the way michelle, did you notice how many times FEMA was referenced in the popular mechanics article? well, we all know what a well run and trustworthy organization FEMA is!!

I think what really happened, and don’t quote me on this, is that a sub-orbital, unidentified flying object shot a high-frequency, focus plasma lazer at the trade center buildings, which melted the beams internally, thereby causing their downfall. I’ve been saying this for years. I have finally decided to break my silence and release my findings to the world so other jack-asses can discuss and rely upon my superior intellect.

Now don’t quote me on that.

  • southerngirl

My husband has been all over the 9/11 CT since the first day. There is quite a bit of evidence to support a conspiracy theory. And this govenment is so evil, who knows what really happened that day.

What I think is another horrible 9/11 diaster is all of the people who are now dying from lung disorders after breathing the debris from the collasping towers. The MSM needs to be reporting on that and the government needs to be offering medical assitance to these people.

  • Michelle

Yeah, it smelled AWFUL down there in the weeks after 9/11. Of course, the EPA told us all it was safe, but nobody believed it. I think this will be ripe for a class-action lawsuit soon.

Check out this article — my family stops by Gator’s Drive In for milkshakes every year driving from SLC to Jackson Hole — apparently it’s THE most Republican city in the U.S. And shocking! It’s in Utah!

    I.…just.…wow.

There aren’t even words for this kind of special display of.…intellect(?!) It amazes me; the human mind and the capacity people have to create their very own reality.

But I guess the world would be boring if we were all the same, eh?

i have been telling my husband FOR YEARS that bush or someone in the administration had orchestrated this. and i’m not really a conspiracy theorist. but why else would that big fat turd sit in a classroom for seven minutes reading an upside down book while cheney (another fat turd) is hermetically sealed in an underground bunker?

o my god i sound crazy.
