Site Maintenance: Feeds

Hey gentle readers. I’ve been a tad remiss in my site navigation and in my communication to you about how to read the feeds. I have two feeds, one for the main site and one for links. I’ve been going batshit on the link scene, and it just seemed to make sense to pull the links out of the sidebar and into your car.

So you get both kinds of content on the homepage.

The feed for the main site is here (although there aren’t any posts in there because it’s been all links lately). The feed for the links is here. Sorry for the confusion and the pain.

UPDATE: The feed(s) have been integrated and are found here.

Ummmm Jon, I’m using firefox and I can’t seem to open the links……am I just being stupid?

Gah! I’ve been using /index.xml in my feed reader to read your site, and it only gives the excerpts, not full posts. Thanks for for the tip, yo.

As a sidenote I just wanted to say…I’ve never heard the phrase ‘going batshit’ before, but in the north of England we do say ‘going apeshit’ to mean going crazy, frenzied activity, or even getting angry at someone.

Strange Anglo-American creature related comments…but I’m still to figure out the link between apes and bats!

How about making a combo feed? Those are dang spiffy.

    Awesome, thanks for the clarification.

    Now…what’s a “feed”?

Wow, I wasn’t going crazy. How come the dual feeds? The way I see it, everyone wants both types of content, unless they are crazy and say, “i like jon’s links, but not his posts” which could be the case i guess.

So now I’ve got 2 spaces in NewFire for Blurb. Hmm, maybe I will start organizing by links and then blogs, mmm even more wonderful organizational possibilities.
