I confess, I am a clog-lover, traditional-style croc-hater. Yet after trying the flip-flops 4th of July weekend, I might have to be a convert. I still fully believe that crocs are not clogs, and while understand and appreciate the design and construction (material, ventilation, etc.) I still find them aesthetically offensive to the eye, in most colors. I go through periods where I try to get over it, or at least try to stop the hate. I don’t want to be a hater.

Yesterday at a local greasy spoon diner, a biker-looking guy was having breakfast with his two clog-wearing sons. I thought of you.

I found Croc flip flops…they are so comfortable and I’ll probably never buy another brand flip flop again!…Not sure if I’m confident enough to wear the clogs.

I know this is ridiculous, but I was really bothered by the fact that the writer repeatedly said that crocs are made of foam. They are, in fact, made of rubber. Want to know how i know this? It’s not that I own a pair.
No, it is because I work at one of those Hallmark stores where crocs are sold “next to the over scented lavender candles”. And they are very comfortable, if not a bit diastrous fashion-wise.
They are also really popular. In fact, many customers are mad because we don’t carry more colors and children’s sizes.
    Love your site-and Heather’s.

    I’ve recently tried on a pair… they’re quite lovely.

The woman at the shoe store was even trying to get me to buy their thong sandals for my wedding day. I was terribly tempted.

I will most likely get some Crocs someday… probably when the ‘trendiness’ is done with. They’re too comfy to avoid.
