    You lucky, lucky boy.

VERY impressive. The last time I was on a tramp, I did a crab dance. It’s on YouTube, but I’m not linking to it because I’m too embarrassed. I can’t delete it either because a friend of mine posted it. Wench. Ha ha.

I’ve never been the bendy type, so I’m very jealous. Go Heather!!!

  • http://www.amanda.veryzen.com Amanda B.

That is an amazing shot– especially with the Congressman in the background. Nice.

Heather is 14 miles long! (and bendy I assume– go you, it’s your birthday)

I had no idea that bendiness was a Mormon trait … so much is coming clear now.

    Wow

  • HDC

Ya know I grew up in Southern California and all my Mormon friends there had trampolines too. Wild.

    That’s just awsome.

    i don’t think i have ever been that flexible…

So what is it about the trampoline that binds it so tightly to the Mormon faith? Is it a kind of bounce your way to God thing?

  • http://ccrafton.blogspot.com Candice

Seriously, how tall is that wife of yours?

  • http://kathompson.blogspot.com Thumper

Well, now I know why I failed miserably as a Mormon. I lacked a trampoline. I *knew* it wasn’t my fault…!

  • sosweeto

    Take THAT, dirty cancer. BOOYA!

not to be a smarty pants or anything but inseparable is spelled wrong ;-) . That’s the only word I know how to spell right.

    OUCH!
I have sat here and looked at this picture and it almost makes me grab my back in pain!

It’s also a great picture. :) Good capture.

I was watching your Jon Stewart video and was cracking up. Why didn’t he have that before when they were calling Kerry a Flip Flopper? Grrr.

Oh and here is a reason why you and Heather need 3 more kids, because I suspect you could get them to do stuff like this (like my husband did)

i love that picture– she looks like she is doing a reverse superman fly away.

  • rockr girl

good lord, someone feed her a sammich!

i love heather, but might have to hate her for being over 30, a mother AND thin. especially knowing her penchant for all things sugar-based.

    my diet starts tomorrow.

Perhaps “The Book of Mormon” has borrowed from the Seventh Day Advent Hoppists. An obscure splinter of Biblical literalists who base their faith on a misprinted version of the KJV. To whit: “Hop, Faith and Charity. And the greatest of these is Hop.”

A virtual vindaloo with extra poppadom for those who can identify that quote.

yes, please explain the Mormon-to-trampoline link (and jello). as a poor ex-Catholic, I know nothing about what ex-Mormons do in their spare time…

  • bigbrownhouse

Help. I don’t get it. I was raised Mormon, and I still don’t get it. I didn’t know anyone with a trampoline, Mormon or not.

  • http://www.blurbomat.com blurb

Mormons don’t drink. That could account for a certain percentage of trampoline sales, I suppose.

  • moonrattled

I think you should force H to photograph you doing a flip on the tramp. in clogs, holding licorice.

  • http://www.troll-baby.com Karen Rani

I just thought of something. Two of my friends were Mormon, until about a year after I met them (they are sisters). They both bought trampolines, and then left the church. I’m not sure if it was because they were sick of being sober at my parties when no one else was, or if the trampolines just weren’t doin’ it for them.

  • HalfwayCrucified

That would make a great album cover. The tree: Is it the tree of life, or the tree of knowledge of good and evil?
