Coco Waits

She’s stalking Chuck here in a rare moment of still. This was taken a couple of weeks ago just after a snowstorm. We only have patches of snow on the ground now. And hopefully it will stay that way.

Wow, I love that shot. The focus makes me a little dizzy. Was this a Lensbaby photo or did you do tis in Photoshop?

@ABM, no photoshop trickery or lensbaby. Just natural depth of field from the 70-200 lens. Heather will kill me for saying this, but I think we’ll be looking at the f2.8 version with the image stabilization. This is the cheaper f4 with no stabilization. It’s not a bad lens at all and at least half the cost, but I’m loving the shots I can get of the dogs with it and given Coco’s propensity for movement, an IS lens looks better and better with each passing day.

You will love the IS lens. Totally, worth the investment. The clarity is unbelievable because of the stabilization.

that face! that posture! that anticipation! spring! spring! spring! both the v. and n.

I love those dreamlike depth-of-field effects. The colors remind me of hand-painted photos, too.

With those little tufts of fur at the top, she reminds me of Thing1 and Thing2 in The Cat in the Hat.

Nice pic. And amen on the snow being gone ’till next winter.

Wow, look at how big she’s getting in her rare moment of silent contemplation. Only you really know what dastardly capers she’s planning when he gets closer!
