I love that “morons” is in quotes.

  • http://vwbusnut.wordpress.com/ Sally Fulton

It’s 6am and I’m 1/2 asleep still and I saw “Rap is for Mormons”

  • http://ransom-note-typography.com/ jon deal

    well, this was obviously photoshopped.

    :-]

First coffee still to be addressed, I caught “comment thread” and it translated to “Rape is for Mormons“
I think my glasses and my brain need cleaning.

YouTube does have the BEST comments.

It’s like people save up all their bile to barf all over the internet in just that one spot.

This makes me think of The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks:

    http://quotation-marks.blogspot.com/

I can’t remember where I first “heard” about this blog, but it is “hilarious.” Maybe you should “submit” this “photo.”

  • Lover

rent/buy/pirate the movie “Idiocracy”. YouTube is only the beginning…

  • http://greatdayinmaine.blogspot.com Leesavee

I saw “Rap is for Mormons,” too! Now that I look closer, however, it does look more like “morons.”

Jon, hope your trip to NYC is a good one, and that your sinuses and bowels are all better.

  • Aisha

Why is that people cannot spell ‘you’re’ to save their lives? Granted, when I say people I mean the absolutely brilliant people that get their jollies from insulting other peoples insults, but… come on! (I see this sort of thing ALL THE TIME in bathroom stalls at my school. I’m contemplating doing a grammar tutorial in some of the stalls. The thought of it makes me giggle.)

The inproper “your” is the best part for me; oozes with red flags of ignorance.

on a sidenote: I need to get a lensbaby, you have far too much fun with them. :)

  • Lisa

saw your tweet entry about your bowels.….get some Activa when you get to NY. Make sure you eat a lot of fruit and vegies and drink lots of water.…and relax.….enjoy. Do you by any chance grind your teeth too?

  • Jennifer

I kinda think it’s the other way around. Comments like that existed on bathroom walls in bars and clubs for years before youtube.

Holy hell, I saw Rape is for Mormons, too. I bet a psychologist would have a field day with that one.

Nicely said, *notafan*. Not your first post, mind you, but definitely the second. And if you’re indeed not a fan, why are you even here? Go on back to icanhascheezburger where you belong.

  • May

Jon, implicitly, you did not consent to notafan’s [insert adjective here] comment(s). S/he essentially raped your blog. Rape is for morons. The photo is fitting enough.

  • http://www.modern-dayjane.blogspot.com Lyz

Whoa. MY stomack turned while reading that notafan’s comments. There’s a big internet out there…why are they reading stuff they’re not even a fan of?

Parents talk all the time about how difficult their children are, even if they are great kids. It’s what we do. And often right in front of them! Of course, we also spend an awful lot of time telling them how great they are, and giving them kisses and cuddles.

I have not for one second thought that you and Heather do anything but treasure your daughter. I only wish I had been writing monthly love letters to my own this whole time.

By the way, what a great example of found writing! I love that kind of thing. Bad grammar + stupidity is hilarious.

  • SuzieQ

Notafan has evidently not been reading the monthly letters to Leta…they are so full of love for such a beautiful child, who will cherish them when she reads them in years to come… and now, to Notafan, I shake my fist in the air with the middle finger extended…just for you!!

    Troll eliminated.

  • Beth

    Good. That person was disgusting.

  • http://athornyway.blogspot.com Craig

I love it when people misuse “your” in an insult. And it looks like “morans” to me.

  • http://dannykourianos.blogspot.com Danny

It looks like the second person was trying to insert ‘your a fag’ into the space between ‘rap’ and ‘is’ as indicated by the arrow so it would read: “Rap, your a fag, is for morons.” Which obviously makes much more sense when you really think about it.

  • http://athornyway.blogspot.com Craig

Your rite, so much more cents.
