I Love Bubbles! thanks for the inspiration. used to work at a restaurant w/ a balcony and would blow bubbles. Idiots would actually complain. This was a 24hr diner where most employee was a junkie or something. Yeah, we were “cool hipsters” back in 94. I was not a junkie — just wanted to give you the majority of the staff. I would regularly smoke w/ the manager in the employee bathroom and bring cuervo in an apple juice bottle (totally worked! — the best way to deal w/ drunk people is to be on their level — i was a very happy and efficient drunk :) Live in condo — have bubble machine — must find it so people see husky fuzz AND bubbles! Umm…sorry for rambling. I am baked.

The kid I nanny for turned four yesterday. We took her to the park and gave her bubbles It’s a great photo opportunity.

Then we surprise-attacked her with silly string and water balloons. (And eventually let her attack us as well.) Even greater photo op. Seriously. You should try it.

I can clearly see in her arms and hands that she’s on the edge of losing her pudgy baby fat. Enjoy those squishy baby palms while you can.

@ n — that’s exactly what I was thinking! She’s moving from baby hands to little girl hands!

I admire the majority of your photographs, but this one really appealed to me. You can see the delight in her hands… excellent composition, Jon!
