Crane

Found this guy posing it up as I was wandering around downtown Vancouver. I love the crazy angles.

The lens makes this crane look much taller than it was in real life. I don’t know why I feel so compelled to share that.

You could use that thing to see if there’s life on other planets.

Instead of that really tall chair NASA is developing.

Looks like a dance party. For buildings.

Wow. The angles in this are amazing. Any chance you’d consider printing this?

@Sarah, I would. When I return from vacation, I’ll add it to the store if you are still interested.

It’s a great image. Which lens is that one? I’m on a very slow learning curve fwith my new D300 and am finding the lenses confusing too. (My first digital camera. Yes, I know, idiotic.)

Yeah, that’s a really, really good one — the crane reminds me a little of an alien, and the glass and angles are consummate Van.

Incidentally, the last sunny day in Vancouver occurred when you guys were here. It’s been raining ever since.

LOVE this photo! I have a strange, potentially unhealthy obsession with cranes. I just can’t pass them without taking a photo!
