Vampire Dog Goes in for the Kill

Coco has been rolled (sans-Rick) too many times here and has HAD IT.

Playing with Lightroom 2.0. Not bad, still slower than Aperture 2 with a large-ish library/catalog. Upon telling my wife that the upgrade was $99, she shot me a look that I’d like to send to Adobe.

I’ll be testing Lightroom printing soon; not for commercial use but for private use. It will be interesting to see what kind of EXIF Lightroom puts out.

Oh yes there was a foxtail involved in this scuffle. A FOUR HUNDRED DOLLAR FOXTAIL, MR. BLURBOMAT.

Coco is totally living up to her furrociousness in this photo. Even Chuck looks a little terrified.

In response to dooce’s daily photo… We too have an extra mini fridge for beverages. Due to the lack of garage in our apartment it sits in our living room and the fact that there is always a cold beer close by completely outweighs its tackiness.

I’ll be curious to hear what you think of Lightroom. I’ve been using it for about six months or so after being a holdout when everyone was raving about it. Of course now I can’t live without it…makes my workflow just that much easier.

Try shooting some stuff at 1600 and 3200 ISO; I’ve found that Lightroom’s default noise reduction does a really nice job at making the high ISOs look pretty good.

I see your $400 vet bill and raise you another $100 when my two cats got into a “fun” little game of chase……..which ended up in a fun little “bite” …….hence the $500 vet bill! BTW…….doesn’t everyone have a fridge in the garage for cold beverages???? If they don’t, THEY SHOULD!

Does WordPress 2.6 resize the image for RSS? It fits perfectly in Google Reader now, and I like it.

@allitode, the feed image is handled by a sweet WordPress plug-in I’m using, YAPB. It’s taken a little massaging, but it’s better than my other solution using custom fields and blah blah blah.

Cococabra, indeed! If you have a picture of the $400 foxtail, please do post it!
