Taken on what I believe will be the last 70°F + day of 2008. I wished I’d had the lensbaby, but with the dogs, it’s more difficult to operate the canines and the camera unless the camera is on mostly automatic mode.

    This is really beautiful and a close variation of what I spotted many times yesterday during a beach side walk in my ‘hood. Highly recommended music for crisp fall walks that have magic in them: the Wall-E soundtrack.

    Jon Stewart was hysterical tonight. At the end of his show, he looked right into the camera and said, “I keep hearing about the “massive youth vote” that can change elections, but you guys never turn out. I have one thing to say to you– don’t blow it for us! Vote!”

    I’m so excited! I’ll be chanting all day Wednesday– President Barack Obama, President Barack Obama.

    So sweet.

    I am so bummed that Obama’s grandmother passed just before the election.

    I am cautiously optimistic. I voted by absentee ballot and dropped it in person on Sunday. No on 8 (in CA), and Obama-Biden!

    I’m keeping my British fingers crossed across the pond for an Obama win. So very crossed. Toes, eyes, limbs and everything desperately crossed…I don’t even think I can stand the tension of tonight (I’ll be staying up all night to watch the coverage)
