Last Warm Day

I’m trying not to think about it too hard, but it’s highly unlikely that any of the remaining days of 2008 will be as warm and beautiful as this one was.

    @meowsk, this was the 24-70mm all the way to 70mm with a relatively open f-stop giving me some nice depth-of-field.

    utah lends itself to some gorgeous photos…. loved it when i lived there- but glad to get to the sun and sand of San Diego :) good luck braving the winter.

    Wait, you’re using a Canon? I thought you and Heather switched to a Nikon … or does she not let you play with the new one?

    I’ve been using a Canon Digital Rebel EOS XT for the past few years … and my in-depth, full-color “Canon EOS Digital Rebel Digital Field Guide” has been sitting untouched on my bookshelf for about that same period of time. One day, I shall finally shoehorn in some time to read it, and figure out what a “relatively open f-stop” is … and then, brothers and sisters … then the world of photography will be knocked on its ass.
