O.M.G! I’ve been following Heather for a while now, I had no idea that you were Swim Hershel Swim!! I was at BYU from ’88 to’90 and after earning the infamous Mrs. degree, stayed in Provorem for another 6 years. I remember that gig — I wasn’t there but friends were!! Thanks for the serious flashback! Though I’m the one feeling old — the baby I had back in 1991 is graduating from high school next month. You guys were awesome! I totally vote remaster and release!

Keep it up. I too can not imagine how big of a bummer my BYU life would have been without this band.

Side Note:
Saw the flyer post from last month. The Hard Rock Cafe OC (since demolished, and good riddance) had a whole window in the entrance dedicated to No Doubt (OC Represent!) that flyer was in that window. Monika and I were at that show, since we were in Laguna that weekend doing wedding prep shit.

I am so sorry I have never listened to your music before. My lovely bride and I are long time readers of yours and Heather’s. Today she was home sick and listened to your latest remaster. As soon as I got home she said, “You have to hear this. It’s that funky stuff you like.” I am a major fan of Cat Empire (tell me you know who they are–biggest thing in Australia) and I love their sound and yours. Love the horns. I am going to go back and find all your previous stuff and hope you will continue to post. Outstanding.

Your band was such a memorable part of my teenage years. Thanks for sharing the stories as well as the music. I downloaded the album awhile ago but as you mention the quality is pretty bad. I would absolutely love it if you’d re-master the tracks so I can do a little skanking with my babies. How old do you feel now?
