I still can’t believe I can shoot and edit a shot like this from my phone.

Gorgeous. What apps are you using?

i remember when y’all came to knoxville that you said that you were increasingly all about iphoneography. at the time, i hadn’t even migrated from my godawful blackberry storm to the google nexus i then used for the next 18 months. i finally got an iphone 3 months ago, and i am now addicted to messing around with photography and photo apps on my phone. actually, it’s become a bit of an obsession

Thanks for the kind words!
Apps for this shot: Camera+ and Filterstorm (These are affiliate links. I pulled most ads from the site and I’m giving these a go.)
@katieallisongranju:disqus , I am happy to hear that you’ve joined the iPhone ranks. The only reason I upgraded to an iPhone 4 was the camera. It’s nothing short of jaw dropping the shots that can be captured and tweaked.
I’ve debated about putting up a gear page that shows what apps I use. I don’t know if anybody would be interested in that…

I would be interested. I, too, am relatively new to the iPhone and love finding new useful apps, especially related to photography. It’s so nice to be able to take a good, clean photo with my phone. Plus the video I’ve taken with it has been exceptional.
