Love the colors– this has a Buddy Rich/ pulpy fiction kind of vibe.

Splendid. Brings to mind a good friend of mine who passed away a few years back.

Makes me think of The Clash or Jason and the Scorchers — kind of a rockabilly thing. Must be the skinny tie and all that action. I have no idea what the music genre actually was, but man am I reliving memories right now.

I like the fact that the drummer is faceless. Because music is like that.

I like the feel of this one so much - Love the colors, and that you manage to convey so much energy in this frozen moment in time. I think your work as a musician has informed this one somehow, which is a very cool thing.
Nice, too, to see the change-up in terms of content; it’s been awhile since you’ve posted outside of the tree/landscape/skyline realm (as much as I like your work in that genre as well).
I’m also very glad that you got out to … well, if it wasn’t to paint the town red, at least you had that red curtain. It’s a start! I hope you had a fabulous, relaxing evening of music and chill time … not as Jon-the-dad, or Jon-the-separated-guy, or even Jon-the-blogging-dude, but as Jon. Period.

This is amazing. Yet another I want on my wall.

Jon, I really enjoy viewing your photographs and reading your daily affirmations. Perfect combo of wisdom, wit, and honesty. You’re navigating very well, yet I’m sorry for the reason that you must. There are many of us Internet strangers rooting you on.
