I find myself compelled to buy almost every app you mention. I sure hope you’re getting a commission for these mentions. *g*

Just wanted to take a second to tell you how much I enjoy your blog entries and photos. I only read the blog occasionally until a few weeks ago. Now I’m finding out how much I missed. Thanks.

I love your affirmation today. Both halves.

The photo combined with the affirmation makes me think of these lines from Leonard Cohen:

Ring the bells that still can ring,
    Forget your perfect offering,
There is a crack in everything,
That’s how the light gets in.

How wonderful is that line you just drew? Pretty damned.

I was just going to register to make that very same comment. One of the most beautiful lyrics ever, and one of the truest.

I’m not sure I downloaded the correct app…The one I found is free. I like being able to take pictures and then immediately nostalg-ify (new word) them. Like, Oh, remember when we saw that old tree? And your friend says, Yeah, you took that picture like two seconds ago. The washed-out, late-night look to these photos is cool too.

Camera Awesome is free, and it does the things you describe. (Though there’s also an app called Awesome Camera that’s free, so you might want to check and make sure that’s not the one you have. )

I’m putting this affirmation up at my desk. It’s perfect for so many situations.

You know what would be cool? Aside from unicorns roaming the earth, I mean. It would be fun if you could throw out a word, like “horizon” or “happiness”, and followers could take a photo of their interpretation, then compare their results with yours. Just a passing fancy but could be fun.

You know, I just tried out the Camera Awesome! app that Jon posted about the other day, and was wishing there was a spot to share our test photos with him. So, yes, very cool!

Anything worth having is worth working for, Jon.  Sometimes looking on the bright side is the hardest part of life.  So happy you are making that effort and that it seems to be working for you.

Negative is easy, wallowing is so much easier than smiling when it’s tough. As much as my negative ass hates to say it, positive vibes truly do make a difference and set the tone.

I think you just created a challenge for me. I am going to do that every day in March — ban negative every time, and see if, at the end of the month, if the positive becomes the automatic/natural response.

Your website is stuck in mobile theme for me… Just thought I’d let you know.

When I saw Crack in the title, I immediate thought butt crack.  Why do I have the mind/humor of a 12 year old boy?
