I love the clouds in the center of this as much as I love the vanishing lines aspect of the posts.

  2. A post about posts. Brilliant.

  3. Andrea says:

I have nothing relevant to say (aside from nice picture). I just have never been so close to the first comment before, either here or on dooce.com, so I have to be a geek and do it. (Especially geeky that I’m so excited about being CLOSE to the first, not the actual first…)

  4. Leon says:

Poster sized prints of a “Post about Posts” now available. Operators are standing by.

….ah damnit, someone beat me to the post punch

  5. Carrie says:

That is an incredible picture. You have an amazing eye for pictures!

  6. cheryl says:

  7. denice says:

  8. Kate says:

That photograph is absolutely beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing.

  9. Heatheranne says:

Do you and Dooce ever frame any of your pictures? You both have a great eye for photography. Thanks for sharing.

  10. Anna says:

That’s it. I’m moving to Utah.

  11. Daniel says:

  12. Mary says:

I just recently found out that I’m the endpoint of a long line of Utah Mormons, and strangely enough, your pictures make me want to visit Utah much more than my family history does. (was that sentence grammatically correct?)

    Jon. Heather. You guys rock.

  13. Michelle says:

If the two of you came out with a Calendar for 2005, I would be all over it. Amazing pictures, always.

  14. LARRY says:

    I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY!

  15. jen says:

I am with Michelle. I am all for a 2005 Calendar.
    *cough*HINT*cough*

    :O)

  16. Lori D says:

Calendar – YES! I’ll buy. The Country Road picture HAS to be in there though.

  17. Mari says:

The calendar idea is actually fabulous. You could offer a couple calendars – one with artistic photos and another with shots of the family, including Chuck. You should seriously consider this idea.

  18. Matt says:

I look at this and all I can think is “I wouldn’t want to cut THAT lawn.” More evidence I’ve been traumatized by suburban homeownership.

  19. Erin says:

Jesus Jon, check out your Google ads.

Maybe it’s time to stop mentioning pResident B*sh quite so much. Or maybe tie it more explicitly to “incompetent” “jerkoff” or “village idiot.”

  20. oh man. priceless.

thanks to google i have my daily dose of irony.

  21. mihow says:

    Holy shit! Good catch, Erin.

  22. steph says:

lol, i can’t believe it. That google ad for the RNC website to “help Republican candidates win in 2004″ makes me wanna heave over in uncontrollable laughter

to expand on the calender idea, if that’s too much for you guys, you should consider just selling prints of the pictures on your website. Most of them would look really nice framed.

  23. nzle says:

to continue the ‘post’ puns i know a chem teacher named dr.post who mentions how we shouldn’t forget to do the POST-lab every week when we have lab.

  24. Jo says:

Crossing my fingers and toes…. hoping I will be post no.57! ;-) -

  25. Szugye says:

Hey this is Szugye (the infamous jazz painter). I found your link under my link on (the infamous Merkley webpage). Boy…I bet you two have gone at it when it comes to politics???

Hey, Pat (swim h s ) came by my booth this year at the Utah Arts Festival…he gave me his email…but I lost it like a dumbass. Ask him to email me if he wants.

    Kerry/Bush. I don’t vote!! Never have. Doe’s that make me Un-Emerican? Hmmmmmmm…

Enjoyed your site…especially the photos ~szugye

P.S. The honest truth…Christina Aguilera has been a “guilty pleasure” for me since 1999. My friend even bought me a life size cardboard cut-out of her off the net. She is staring at me right now. It makes me feel good. “Mmmmmm purple.”
