Fly girl

I did a photoshoot in the 90s with a ton of Black Flys sunglasses. I kept these for myself. No woman I’ve met would wear them, and I loved them as mountain biking shades because the color made it easier to see the terrain. My brother told me they were too gay, but I wore them anyway. I think I saw Parry Farrell wear a pair just like them once on MTV.
I recently rediscovered them going through basement boxes. Leta loves them. Maybe she’ll be the first female to actually put them on and like wearing them. Or maybe she’ll wear them at a 90s party making fun of grunge and the neo-70s/electronic space age fashions.

Parry Farrell is hot and so is Leta. I wish I could see the Photo, but it is not showing up. I imagine she looks wonderful (as Parry Farrell does, because he is god) in whatever you guys put her in.

One of the best part of having kids is using them for funny pictures: wigs, hats, pirate knives between the teeth and teaching them so say ‘arrrrgh’, as a guitar, with big glasses (like those) behind the wheel of your cousin’s Corvette.
And we’re laughing with them, not at them, cause they’re so darn cute. Until they get old enough to start objecting to being used as props, that is.
i’m a girl, and i used to wear black flys, in fact you couldn’t even get them here, so i had a friend in the usa buy me a pair.
i miss my black flys, never thow any of them away. Even if they are not cool when leta is bigger, they might be considered vintage and the sale of them will pay for her college

What an incredibly cute picture!!! Theses days my 10 1/2 month old girl pulls her sunglasses off, chews them, and throws them under the wheels of her stroller… perhaps I will have to get her a pair of those Black Flys!
