Used to work on the production teams for NW Folklife and Bumbershoot, both held in Seattle Center. One of my duties was to go up the needle and "chart" weather patterns and winds when there might be bad weather coming in. That meant standing up there on purpose during squalls and such. Nowadays we have live radar feeds via internet weather sites, which is a lot more comfortable. Nice memories there.
