This is a test.
August 26th, 2005I’m testing the upgrade to Movable Type 3.2. They’ve done a great job so far, so I’m going to publish this to see if it really works.
Yes, I know that I’m pushing my luck right now. But I figure things can only get better. And it has to start somewhere. So maybe this is it.
If you see weird stuff on the site, and if anything is broken, I’m terribly sorry. I’ll sue somebody and fix it later.
UPDATE: Hey, it works! The upgrade was the easiest I think I’ve ever done on this site. Excellent work Six Apart. You should be proud. Way to go Jay, Brad and the rest of the crew. o

Testing the comments. I know, lame to self-comment. But I’m testing.

Well, SixApart may be good for this, but their TypeKey thing really blows. Very poor usability and no way to contact them or send feedback in the interface. Yeah, I found the site, but I was really disappointed and surprised, since their stuff is usually pretty good.

are you sure you changed anything ha ha ha? All seems perfectly normal here and I use Firefox. Maybe we could poke around in the site, digging for something that doesn’t work! Like finding a golden ticket. Would we win a prize? A month’s supply of chocolate?

I upgraded last night too — seamless! Love the new UI of MT.

I’m still on MT 2.5 and it seems to work fine. I’m sure 3.2 is better so you’ll have to show me how to do this one of these days.

I also upgraded to 3.2. After a few worrying moments with plug-ins not working because I had changed the directory that mt was sitting in, everything has been great.
I really like the new system. Great work by Six Apart!

I don’t know what I’m doing– can’t install MT myself, but my friend Iki is upgrading me this weekend. Glad to hear it’s working.

I’m still on version 2-point-something and it took me awhile to get it up and running. A lot of it was trial and error. The upgrade looks good but I’m sceeeeered of losing my files or doing something dumb. Any tips you might want to pass along?
