I, too, suffer from Likes Steely Dan Disorder and have been refusing any and all treatment for it for many years. I prefer instead to self-medicate with liberal doses of Walter and Donald whenever I can, in either of the available formats: Steely Dan or Steely Dan masquerading as Becker or Fagan solo album.
Good luck with finding your true calling old man. Don’t have a breakdown. And if necessary, get meds. Peace.
