SXSW: Some photos

March 15th, 2006

Here are some photos (link goes to flickr slideshow) I took in Austin. It’s insane that we didn’t have enough time to walk around for an hour or two and take more shots of this great city.

My favorite:
Rawr

I was last in Austin in the late 90s and took some good photos (here’s one) there with a Canon Elan 35mm. Next year, we’ll be taking some time to walk around. The weather was perfect for a photo jaunt. Perfect.

The weather is ALWAYS beautiful & a day trip into one of the many fabulous places the Texas Hill Country had to offer would have been awe-inspiring! Here’s hoping you get more time next year - looks like y’all had a blast!

I’d recommend getting into town a little earlier if you can before the craziness starts up. You missed out on a lot of very interesting and “Austin” places, this list is pretty much endless….but there’s always next year ;)

I like how in the picture here, the person on the left and Heather are really into the growl, but then the person on the right is like, “Growl?” Lovely photos as usual.

Are the flashing some sort of gang sign? Are they all members of the Wood’s Cross Death Row Millionares? Maybe the American Fork Murder For Life Posse?
