I had an hour of soul funk greatness courtesy of Mr. Atomic until The Meters and Tower of Power videos got pulled. There was some great stuff on You Tube, but by the time I linked, it had been pulled. Tower of Power videos need to be seen. o

HIT IT AND QUIT IT! Thanks so much for posting this! My boyfriend (a drummer who spent YEARS closing out nights playing a JB medley) and I greatly enjoyed watching and listening to it. Any idea who the other singer is? I know a fair amount about old school soul and R&B, but don’t recognize him.
Great stuff! Let me stand back and kiss myself! Makes Lenny Kravitz (and to some extent, Prince) seem decidedly unoriginal.
