Thank you so much for supporting Dosh. He’s a great friend, a great dad, and a brilliant musician. We love him in Minneapolis, and it’s good to see people from other places loving him as well.
Dosh should be seen live, especially with Andrew Bird. Great interplay and use of tech without being into alien subculture, UFO subculture, raves or techno subculture.
You can get free (and legal) Dosh and Andrew Bird tracks on 3hive.com.
I know it’s extremely un-indie to say so, but (at least a couple of years ago when he wasn’t a “pop star”), Howie Day used to loop himself and his guitar solo during concerts. Same basic concept, same cool results.
also just had a chance to catch up on dooce’s blog/article/lawsuit news. am so impressed with you two and your ability to stay strong and positive and supportive of each other. it is inspiring to see.

Wow. That’s some sweet-assed looping. And he doesn’t have to worry about the band breaking up.

That was pretty cool. I prolly wouldn’t have listened to the whole thing if I’d not been able to watch it, too.

Reminds me of 70’s Stevie Wonder and how he would play a majority of the instruments on his albums.
LOVE the prepared Rhodes.
Dude needs a pair of wireless headphones.
