I’d love to be excited about the iPhone, but I can’t help thinking Apple is going to fight an uphill battle with this thing. Few people are happy about the Cingular exclusive through ‘09, and yeesh, it’s EXPENSIVE.

I’m going to predict it’ll be hot with trust fund babies, tech millionaires and Paris Hilton, at least until ‘09.

I’d love to be proven wrong, of course.

I got a good chuckle out of that last night, especially when they closed it off with the “how long does the battery last?” question. That’s the one thing that I see as the big stumbling block – no user-replaceable battery, in a cell phone. Yeah, a lot of its target market are the ones who buy new phones every year or so, but still…

I really liked the “money shot” at the end—-

    wait for it . . . wait for it . . .

    “And the battery life?”

    “Twenty minutes!”

I guess you know by now that the video is “no longer available”. Sorry I missed it!

It’s gone. NBC nazi’s took it in the night…

  6. blurb says:

And the beauty of the clip being pulled is that NBC doesn’t have it live on their official YouTube site.

  7. blurb says:

Thanks to Leah for sending me a new version. It looks like NBC finally officially posted it.

  8. SLN really nailed Job’s quirks on that one!

Maybe it’s a dumb question but can someone have 2 phones and 1 phone number? I’d hate to lug something like an iPhone around everyday (doesnít fit in your pocket and Iíd break it), but something like an iPhone would work well for weekend getaways.
