On the Floor
April 19th, 2007The floors are in! GEORGE! is starting to move his stuff into the sublet room. I’m disoriented and my cold along with a late winter cold has returned with a vengeance. Floor dude finished the front room yesterday in the middle of a blizzard by making a lean-to on the porch for his saws. The hardwood makes me miss the old house less. Wait. I’m not missing the old house. I am missing the neighbors, though.
This is all a distraction from the two forms of work I need to do: client and unpacking. Clients first, unpacking second… I’m going to leverage that mantra until Heather kicks me… Clients first! Unpacking second!

Glad to read you guys are doing so well! You may not have TV in your bedroom, but at least now you have Joost to entertain yourselves!

I’m currently in the midst of selling our house - I’m NOT looking forward to the moving part, but I AM looking forward to the new hardwood floors part. I’m easily pleased
