Breaking: Dr. Laura’s Son’s MySpace Page Pulled
May 19th, 2007Dr. Laura son linked to lurid Web page
Caught this story on the front page of today’s Salt Lake Tribune. Interesting for a few reasons… Last Monday, the U.S. military banned access to YouTube and MySpace for “bandwidth”. Kind of odd that Mr. Schlesinger’s MySpace page would be pulled so soon after.
It doesn’t appear that soliders are being silenced per se, this will be a story to watch. o

I’m sure Dr. Laura is a wonderful parent. Given her wonderful advice skills and all.

How could the poor boy be sane with a mother like that. It is so obvious that all the right-wing wingnuts out there are actually nuts.

My advice to Dr. Laura… No whining… or speaking at all.

I strongly believe that the most important influence a person can have in the world is what s/he does as a parent.
“Dr.” Laura’s contribution to humanity is manifesting itself quite clearly, it would seem.
That poor kid never had a chance, and is going to need some serious counseling; maybe he could get in touch with Phyllis Schlafly’s gay son who could steer him toward some much-needed help.

Either he’s as mean as his mom or someone’s out to get him.

The alleged son’s site does, indeed, sound scary - but we should be careful not to lump “all” troops together, leahpeah. Each soldier is an individual. Many of them even disagree with the reasons for starting the war and think that the President is, ahem, misguided. Two of those soldiers are my brothers.

I am soooo happy I shut tuned her out when I did. Kid sounds as nasty as his mom.

Apparently he enjoys beating up protesters, too.

Here’s my favorite part:
“Our enemies are adaptive, technologically sophisticated, and truly understand the importance of the information battlespace,” Tallman continued. “Sadly, they will use that space to promulgate and disseminate untrue propaganda.”
Wonderful manipulation of the facts LOL! This really messes with her assumed stance of moral and personal superiority; I find it kinda endearing that her beloved son is a foul mouthed inappropriate guy. Thank god for the internets!!

Does this mean that they’ve shut down all the Myspace and such for the troops. Cause that would suck for them!
Also, this kid is a fucking monster. He is precisely the reason Americans are so hated.

Myspace and youtube are only blocked from being accessed on government computers for the Air Force. We’ve got nationals who are running Internet cafes all over the place though where I go and we can still get to both websites that way. The Army has completely unrestricted access though when the Internet does work and I don’t know about everyone else.
