Yeah, They’ve Kind of Sold Out Now
June 7th, 2007How Crocs is outpacing the pack - MSN Money
And I’m on my second pair after wearing them nearly a year, including with socks in winter. When I’m right, I’m right. People. I’m not going to be all indie fundamentalist on this one. I’m sticking with me clogs this summer as well. Given the god damn water feature in the backyard, it’s looking like I’ll need them now more than ever.
Thanks for sending this along, Patrick. o

Couples often have to learn to live with differences of opinion. Heather may just have to suck it up and live with it. You are a fashion trend-setter, after all. She has to respect your authoritay on this one.

Besides, she’s got that massive Technorati ranking she can always fall back on.

Preach on brutha! I just bought my first pair last month (while on a trip in Canada), and haven’t take them off since. I’m a now a happy Crocs convert. They’re ugly but who cares!

Just got a pair of Athens for summer. Love, love, love my Crocs. I don’t wear anything else (shoewise).

Although I think crocs are adorable, most of the people I see wearing them lack fashion sense. For example, the girl in the orange dress whose crocs were bright pink. Add white socks to this outrage and it’s no.

What is the world coming to?

“If you have never heard of them, just ask any woman of a certain age or her daughter.”
That reporter is profiling!

I just can not bring myself to like Crocs. I like to stick with Macbeth. http://www.macbethshoes.com

OMG, Heather just KILLED me! ROFL!
Now I have to clean the soda out of my keyboard and off my monitor and it came up my nose, too.

God Damnit.

I have, like, eight pairs, all in differenct colors. I need to coordinate them with my scrubs, you see. That’s why I “need” eight pairs.

Dude, I’ve had a pair of Crocs since before they were considered “in style”. I only paid $10 for them at some weird outlet type store and didn’t even really know what they were…just knew they were comfortable.
I’ve spent a lot of time being teased…but now those people are paying $30 for the same shoes.
June 7th, 2007 at 11:16 pm
Man, that article kinda makes me wish I’d spent that $30 on stock! Except they weren’t public then . . .

FENICLE, go to France, where they sell for 45€! I love my Crocs, but my 12-year-old daughter thinks they’re pretty weird. I don’t care what she thinks, though. And I will never, ever wear another kind of shoe through airport security.

LOVE my crocs! I have two Mickey Mouse pairs, and have bought them for my children as well. The hubby refuses to wear his though. He has no taste.

I think I’ll stick to my plan of buying shares in Apple and kicking myself many times that I didn’t buy them in 1999 when I first thought of it. D’oh.
When they start making clogs out of bioplastics, THEN I’ll reconsider the hideous beasts
June 8th, 2007 at 3:58 pm
Ok, I’ll admit, they’ve really caught on and are very popular.
That doesn’t mean I have to like them. And I don’t.
What “water feature”? I must have missed something…Don’t tell me you’re doing the sewer line replacement thing at the new house too!

i firmly believe the makers of these shoes owe you some money blurb.
i would swear on a holy bible that you are personally responsible for the world opening their hearts to these shoes.

I can honestly say this is the only blog I have ever visited (including some Dutch ones) with a category of ‘clogs’. Impressive!
This is my second year of Croc wearing and I still love them to bits. The only downside being that wearing ‘normal’ shoes is now the most uncomfortable thing in the world! I must be getting old.

Honestly, I hate Crocs. I have to say it. I find them ugly and ridiculous, especially when they’re bright pink, green or yellow. However, they are good quality. My dad wanted some for gardening, but didn’t want to pay $30 for them. We looked at other brands, but they all feel really cheap and hard, whereas Crocs’ material feels soft but tough. I may regret saying this, but I’d like to get some Crocs brand flip-flops or sandals… my hate is entirely relegated to the clogs.

Love the Crocs, have quite a few, but this picture gives me pause:

Maybe it’s the socks he’s sporting.

you know what’s upsetting, though?
i got my first pair of crocs for xmas 2005. they’re great. bright blue caymans.
i wanted a second pair, something more subdued, so went shopping and discovered that crocs nowadays are just not as soft as they used to be. have you noticed that? my original crocs are just so smooshy and comfortable. the ones currently in stores feel like rip-offs in comparison. i ended up buying a pair of black mary-jane style crocs anyhow, and they’re fine, but they are just not as comfy as the originals.
i don’t understand.
