Most strikes can be avoided if a small part of the profits are allowed to flow down river instead of trying to delay the sharing as long as possible.

For many years I was not able to find much of anything on TV that was enjoyable and then Lost appeared. What followed was a stream of decent programming including Heroes and Life. Once again I was watching network television but I have a feeling that it might not last.

Pay these people a decent wage and benefit package.

It's like the old chestnut sez: "Them that has, gits."
Why pay writers and actors when reality television ::shudder:: has so many viewers?
I refuse to watch anything on the internet.
If you have satellite, you might want to catch some of our tasty Canuck programming.
I recommend the Rick Mercer Report, especially his "Talking to Americans" segment.
Oh. No, that would only be funny to Canadians, eh?

Be prepare for an onslaught of more REALITY TV! I know a couple production companies (my roommate's for one, and I'm sure many many more) out in lala land are currently working triple overtime to squeeze out EVERY single writer-free reality pitch they can.

But look on the bright side, I bet Heather will be THRILLED with all the top-choice trash that's about to grace your television. :)
