Downtown
December 6th, 2007This and the four others I just uploaded to flickr were taken on our Los Angeles trip four months ago. When it was over 100°F in the shade. It was so hot that we bought two large Otter Pop like treats from a street vendor and they melted faster than we could eat them.
It’s nice to think of that kind of heat when it’s cold out and there is a layer of ice on the driveway. o

I like cold much better than heat. Here in Nor Cal it gets up to 120 degrees in the summer. I hate that. I’d rather have the cold.

That’s a really great shot. I’m surprised you can’t see the heat waves coming off the pavement though.

Wonderful building! Just the sort of thing to put up in an earthquake zone! LOL ;-D Doncha just love LA?
And me, I like the heat! I have family in SoCal and I keep threatening to retire there.
