Bloglines & dooce® Feed

December 7th, 2007

I can’t promise that this will be the last support post for readers of dooce.com, but for the 5,100 or so subscribers, I couldn’t, for the life of me, get Bloglines to see any of the updated feeds. The only way I could get it to work is to click the “Add” link (do not use the smart tools, as they will find the comment feed first and subscribe you to that instead of the content feed). Then enter the following:

http://dooce.com/feed_main/feed

Then click the Subscribe button and you should be in business.

There may some issues with the redirect, but I think, for the sake of sanity, try this. Let me know in the comments if this works for you or not.

UPDATE: I’ve tweaked some stuff on the server. Check your existing Bloglines feed. You shouldn’t have to re-subscribe and you should see awesome dooce content a flowin’. o

Oh, my gosh, thanks so much!! I just started using Google Reader and it kept linking me to the comments on Dooce, just as you said. This fixed it. Thanks again!
