She will be out-running him in about a week, old chuckles won’t be able to keep up with that young skirt But it’s ok, he can now retire and live out his days as a fixture in front of the fireplace.
Jon, seeing the new addition confirms that you are the World’s Perfect Husband. Of course, I’m hoping to add to my own household by one Aussie myself . . . .
What a great idea–for Heather, you, Chuckles, Dooce readers! Maybe even Leta will like her, eventually. Congratulations and thanks!
Chuck actually looks like he’s enjoying his new sister! I’m surprised he isn’t moping and listening to angsty music in the basement. This is nice to see them so happy together!
Coco looks like a big puppy! How big is she going to get? Or is Chuck just kinda wee?
I wish I was romping with them instead of being stuck in the office…minus the snow of course!
Today’s photo of chuck on dooce.com, shifting his foot and going “ick” as coco licks it, makes me wonder if he initially thought you were just babysitting her the way you have other dogs. That would explain why he was not totally hostile the way he usually is to puppies, because at the time he was just being civil to the houseguest. He’s now got a cold chill of fear that she might actually be moving in for good.

is Coco named after the character on Foster’s home for imaginary friends? I’ve been wondering since Heather first posted about her…

Chuck will ALWAYS be Dog Numero Uno - but she’s outfrisk him, and he’ll tire of being nipped by those baby teeth!
