That's appalling! Only $100 to double the memory? Apple are officially criminals.

hiya.
hubs just got me the 16GB one for Valentines Day. love it. But, anyone know why you can't accept/decline emailed ical invites via the iphone? Seems tres silly that you can't just add events remotely. hubs not buying himself an iphone until this is sorted because he uses his Palm for business.

No grapes from me. It would be a hard choice in a fire between this thing and my child.

Although, the ironic part is just the day before the announcement, I *was* clearing off some music to make room for some new downloads.

I'm waiting for a keyboard that takes into account the fat of finger. Also, I am a guitarist, so I'd have to learn to keep my fingernails trimmed. Annoying.

And yet I fetish an iPhone in a very deep way.

I'm not at all bothered - I have a ton of photos and music on my 8GB iPhone (which only came out here in the UK 3 months ago so I've not had it long anyway) so it's enough for me. I'd agree with Marty - this is the first device I've had that I'm truly happy with, too.

Unless they come out with something gobsmackingly brilliant for iPhone #2 (which they probably will!) I'll stick with this - I don't see the point in upgrading for everything, and from an environmental standpoint I'm hoping to get a lot of usefulness from it before I even think of changing it. Anything else is just being wasteful.

I don't really need the 16Gb right now - 8Gb is fine, and my iPhone is the first mobile device I've owned that I'm truly happy with. I wouldn't change a thing about it, and that speaks volumes about how right Apple got it. I really can't see me upgrading for a long time yet.

I still love my 8gb iPhone. I'll pass it on to my partner when they come out with a 3g iPhone, though.

Do I really NEED 16gb? I think not. I will just have to live without... because that $100 issue still sticks in my craw. No sour grapes. Still have an extra ipod so all is well.
