If I were to invoice the hours I spent unable to work because of dealing with PC issues, it would pay for the Mac I bought. No regrets.

@nikol, It’s the exact opposite in our house. The Macs are the go to machines when it’s time to get something done.

For doing print work, PCs just can’t handle the large files in any kind of a way without spending the same money on a high end PC.

Don’t forget Opera! Even though I just bought an iMac and am refreshing the tracking info every 3.5 seconds, I will continue to use Opera on the shiny new computer because it is awesome.

Also, it was awesome before Firefox was popular.

I might be the only person on the planet but we have 9 computers total in this house.

We have one MAC we got in 2007. It is my least reliable tool. And Firefox bugs out on me all the time. I like the features better then Safari but I always end up going back to Safari because Firefox gets cought in some crazy loop of functions and will not move forward.

My Mac is like a trophy wife. Very pretty and thin (AND EXPENSIVE)….but not where you go when you need something done.

What I love about macs, aside from making me cool :P… is that the old G3 in my 6 year old’s room runs just as well as it did years ago. I’ve never had a PC that performed that well for that long.

I just uploaded Safari. So far so good, and what a difference!
Thanks for the tip. I was dying a slow, slow IE death!
Now all I need is a Mac…….. any recommendations?

@Jessy, so far, the only person making this like high school is you.

It has nothing to do with being hip or cool. Just efficient. IE6 is a crap browser. IE6 is a dead browser. There are great alternatives out there. That’s all I’m saying.
