My husband and I used to live in Austin before we decided to have children and move back to Utah to be close to family, and better employment for my husband (life plays funky tricks on those that spend the majority of their time trying to get out of Utah, just to find themselves right back here!) We LOVED it, except for the humidity, but there really isn't a better place for live entertainment, great food and even greater people. Though, the one thing you could rely on was turning on the news and hearing the long time locals complaining about the growth, and who can blame them? When you live in such a great place, you almost want to keep it your own little secret!

That sky is turquoise. Awesome. Your photos from Austin make me want to visit... breaking my previous plans of never going to Texas in the entirety of my life.

Sweet photo title, too. Good concept.
