April 14th, 2008

Taken a couple of weeks ago. Before a few more snowstorms.

I’m happy to report that it will be in the 70s today and it couldn’t have come soon enough. o

That green is just beautiful. It really nudges my shadowy, seasonally affected brain toward joyful frolicking.

We got 103 inches of snow — almost 40 inches more than usual.

And we’re only 80 feet above sea level here (or at least, where they measure these things is).

    Tain’t fair, says I.

People in my neighborhood were actually shoveling it off the front lawn and into the street just to get rid of it, when it finally started melting for good.

Congrats! It’s been in the 40’s in Dallas during the evenings and we’re supposed to have a freeze later this week. I hate Texas.

    Lucky!

I’m up north of you in Missoula, MT and we had our beautiful weather this weekend. It broke records yesterday at 79 and I got my first sunburn of the year! God did I need it - back to 40s tomorrow…
