Guess What?
April 16th, 2008It snowed again yesterday afternoon. From about 1pm to 6:30pm we had crazy winter conditions. The only saving grace about this is that we are hopefully going to see 60°F temps in a couple of days. Our nearly 80°F day yesterday was that freakishly hopeful day that comes every spring.
Heather and I were talking during the snowstorm and realizing that we’ve been in this house a year. Time is a supersonic jet, man. Yeah. Jet. o

A year already???!!! Woah. I can totally remember your first posts about it and it only seems like 5/6 months ago. Time really does fly.

Spring is not coming this year. Our forecast for Western Washington is bleak for the rest of the week, cold temps, wind and snow. Yes more snow. In April.
We have had more snow this winter than we have had in all the years combined of living near Seattle over the last 14 years. We moved here for the rain and mild temps. Not snow. I am done.
Congrats on celebrating a year in the new house. Hard to believe it has been a year. Seems like a few months, tops.

Wow, time flies. I still remember Andy and I carrying that TV in and saying “fuck” a lot.
And then beer.

Too bad that supersonic jet seems to have stalled in winter.
May this most recent storm be the last you’ll see of snow until December. Of 2011.

I think warm weather is overrated. Here in California we have had so much warm dry weather, the hills are already turning brown. Send your moisture our way.
