Golden Disney Hall
April 21st, 2008Taken last August when it was 101° F. Too hot to be out and about. We took refuge inside, but the outer shots were better. I think this is a great piece of work and wish more clients had the backbone and will to encourage architecture that pushes the boundaries.
Also, I wish more pants pushed the boundaries. o

beautiful shot of one of my fave buildings =)
i also luv the post processing to made it golden…….fabu!
Terrific shot in all respects. The colors are amazing.
This is OT but was curious to know if you would do an update on how the antidepressants have helped/not helped, etc.
Fabulous! Not sure if I love the colors or the architecture more…
One of my fave buildings in LA. Oh how I miss living in that city . . .
Straight out of The Fountainhead, that.
You’ll be selling prints soon, yes?
Prints for sale?
Revenue from prints?
You have a market for prints?
You’ll be rolling out prints?
Prints and The Revolution?
Parachute pants dude. Now THAT is boundary pushing. Especially in 101 degree heat.
Pants pushing the boundaries ey?
Nice shot. Love the colors.
I’m thinking too many pants push their boundaries. But maybe that’s just me.
Maybe it’s just the wrong pants that do that.
Also, you would have a good career as a commercial photographer, and I’d buy this print. Gehry is one of my favorites too.
Love it, Jon. It inspires.
Gorgeous.
Ever been to Boston?

Wow! This is a fabulous shot.
This is such a beautiful image, I have no words.
I would buy this as a print too; stunning colour and perfect composition. One of my favourite buildings in the world, sadly I didn’t get time to go inside it when I was in L.A.
FANTASTIC shot!
i love it but dont think howard roark would… Sorry for being bitchy – i hate that but I just really think he would think the building is full of unfunctional spaces.
Did you know that when that building was first constructed the reflection from the metal was so bad that it melted the plastic garbage cans of it’s neighbors
They had to sandblast the outside to take the shine down and save the garbage cans of downtown L.A.
This is probably my favourite shot of yours *ever*! So excited it’s for sale!! Am sad that you’re not currently offering international shipping…for what it’s worth I’ve bought HUNDREDS of things from the States via internet and only had one shipping problem. But that’s to the UK, and US-UK mail seems to be pretty solid. Italy and a couple other European countries I’ve heard aren’t so good, but perhaps a courier would be an option instead of normal mail? (DHL are pretty good here)
Yes customs and duty tax is a responsibility here as with many places but that’s not your responsibility, in the UK it is the buyer’s – I’ve found that I generally get slapped with a customs charge of $25-ish on an order of over $100 probably 1 time out of 10. Lower value orders mostly don’t get charged. I’m sure you probably know all this really but I just thought I’d let you know
