I loved the book. I preordered from Barnesandnoble.com for a friend and bought from overstock.com. We received them last week. I thought that was a little funny considering the release date.
I am grateful to both you and Heather for sharing yourselves and your family. Congratulations on the well deserved praise.
I really enjoyed your essay, as well.

Um. You might want to chat with Amazon about this little comment by them about the book: “Availability: Currently unavailable. We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.”
Don’t they usually indicate that a book is due to be published and give the info re pre-order discounts?
Looking forward to the book (I pre-ordered it a long time ago). Love both your websites!

I, too, pre-ordered mine as soon as Heather mentioned it & received my copy yesterday. Perfect timing for me as in less than 10 days (I refuse to be overdue) I will become a parent.
I started immediately started reading the book, even before taking off my jacket & shoes, and my husband had to tell me to PUT THE BOOK DOWN to eat dinner.

Yeah, so Amazon told me today that they can’t ship until May 6 or 7.
What’s up with that? A second printing?
Also, the local B&N has no books.
OK, I’ll continue to pace the cage but if nothing shakes loose soon I’m going to rake my tin cup across the bars and then you’ll be sorry!

I am proud to say that as of yesterday, I am officially an owner of Things I learned about my dad…In Therapy and I couldn’t be more excited to read it!
The B&N I hit up did in fact have copies, but for some godforsaken reason, they weren’t out on the shelves yet! For shame! Thankfully, they were more then happy to pull one out for me.
Looking forward to the read! Whoo!
