NOTE: On TV in green room. TV is the wrong resolution and image is stretched. Hey, NBC, you guys heard about High Definition?? Just checking.
On the other hand, Heather did a great job. It’s too bad they don’t want to have a real conversation about anything on the TV. Probably a post about the Mainstream Media in there somewhere.
But I’m going to hit the streets of the big city and take photos. o

Heather ROCKED! I got to watch it online. I wish she would have been interviewed by people that were at least computer literate….and KLG making comments about safety…..WTF do you not remember pimping your kids so much viewers would vomit in their mouths back in the days of Regis??????

Yes, all of the comments above (and I’m sure below), are correct. But I think everyone is missing the big picture here. As a former book publicist, I can tell you that main stream media is assenine, but it SELLS BOOKS. I’m sure her amazon rankings went through the roof, and will stay high all week. It’s hard to get a Today spot; authors kill for this opportunity.

I must admit when I saw the thumbnail on their site, I was like - WHAT IS UP with that?
And as I twittered yesterday, my total FAVE moment of the interview was when KLG winced as she asked about posting pictures of children on the Internet, and then gleefully flashed massive photos of Leta on NATIONAL TELEVISION.
Either way, congrats to you both!

I’m only upset that they didn’t give Heather’s book a plug. For the rest, that Kathie Lee is her own worst enemy. In the immortal words of Dan Ackroyd, “Kathie, you ignorant slut…!”
Thanks to whoever put the link for sending Kathie a direct message. I sent her a brief one which included the point that at least Heather is at home WITH her kid while she’s working, instead of what Kathie did: spending her days in a TV studio blabbing on about her children ad nauseum while someone else keeps them. As I recall, nothing was too intimate to be told on national television. At least with the bloggers no one has to read it just to see what ELSE is on the show.
Dooce is a class act, in cyberspace and in person.

Suddenly thought I should say that I meant no insult to all those women who leave their children with caretakers because they have jobs. My point was simply that none of us should be judgmental because there is always another way of looking at a subject and always a few things about ourselves that someone else could point to. That’s all.

Heather was great. But she wasn’t able to be as fabulous as she truly is thanks to Kathie Lee. Let’s face facts, here: KLG was lame.

Went to the KLG website to leave her a “note”…just happened to check out her “Scrapbook” and guess what…PICTURES OF HER KIDS!!! ON THE BIG BAD INTERNET!! What a crock!!
