Trees on Trump

May 16th, 2008

Trump Tower with live trees. Compare and contrast with this one from late 2006.

Seeing all the green made my heart sing and jump. We’ve had cold days here since our return, but spring is finally hitting us full force. I couldn’t be happier. o

I assume there’s supposed to be a link to another picture?

It’s late, so vocabulary is …shrinking. Leaving me to label this picture ‘cool’. New York is beautiful. I was only there once, for a few days, and fell in love.

I’m glad you finally got Spring, I cringed every time one of you posted about more snow. Being born and raised in Southern California, I bundle up when it starts getting into the 60s. My Viking ancestors would be so ashamed.

My trees are magnificent, and what is more magnificent is the Trump Tower.

I was going to name it Tiffany Tower, since I bought air rights from Tiffany’s, but why name it after Tiffany’s and confuse people when it was my financial intelligence that spurred my creativity to build this wonderful building in the Great New York City.

Hmmm…I wonder if there are any squirrels living in those trees. I kinda hope not.

I bet those folks with a window next to the trees have a very nice view.

Really cool picture. I live in the deep south and I think I would jump off a building if the winter held on that long.. Forget spring - it’s been summer here for about a month now..

Raising a glass in honor of spring! Winter lasted almost as long here in Maine as it did in Utah, but you REALLY got screwed by Mother Nature. Hope the rest of spring (and summer) are marvelous and green, just like those trees on Trump Tower. When I lived in NYC, I used to be able to see them from the windows in our office, so thanks for the blast from the past, Jon.

Is it wrong that I got a little giggly when you said “compare and contrast”?

    Whoa!

It got cold here, too (in Brooklyn) after you guys left. But at least we won’t be seeing snow for at least 6 months!!

I just saw Mario Cart Wii in your flickr photos, we’re totally addicted to it too. The house is a total mess and we have very few clean dishes left because of it.

    See you on-line…

Totally kewl. My question……….how do they water them?? Hidden doors to each level? Rapelling gardeners??

I wonder what those trees think of Manhattan.

The smaller version on the main page looks like one tree in perfect symmetry with the building, which is awesome in itself. Is that really the Donald who posted commentary?

    Fantastic picture!

I thought spring was here in DC but I’m sitting here in jeans and a long sleeve shirt, it’s freezing!

But the trees are beautiful… and the green grass outside and the flowers -

it’s amazing how my mind forgets from year to year- what a rush I feel when it starts getting warmer after a long winter!

    love the picture- thanks!
