First of all, I love this.

Secondly, thought it might be interesting to mention that as an architecture student I do a lot of renderings of digital models (mostly in Rhino/Vray, sometimes in Maya), and I almost always resort to switching the digital "lens" into a way wide angle shot. It makes everything look amazingly deep and rich. Sprinklers included.

Thanks for sharing so much of yourself with everyone. Someday, when I can afford things besides rent and food I'm going to buy this photo. Hopefully that someday is soon.

Okay, make this a print and I will totally buy it. My dorm room will need something fun that isn't pictures of my family and boyfriend, and this is SO MUCH BETTER than any of the posters that I could get.

Your and Heather's photos are why I am planning to have enough money for a dSLR in two years. I dream of taking great photos one day. (Sorry to get sappy, I've been up since 5 am)

I do this all the time, and get the usual puzzled look from passers-by of 'why on earth are you taking a photo of THAT?'...LOL. My ex summed it up perfectly when he pulled into a tiny fuel station here in the countryside one day for me to jump out of the car, run across the road and take a shot of the stunning sunset over the fields with a small seat/bench as a close foreground. He wandered in to buy a drink while I did my thing, and the cashier pointed to me (by then lying on the grass to get the shot!) and said to him with a confused look 'she an artist or something?'

Great pic, we don't have these on streets in the UK so they're very 'American' to me (I know, this was Vancouver? LOL) Cool textures and colours there.
