Purple Sea
July 11th, 2008I took about a dozen different shots at different angles trying to get this one just right. I never really caught it like I wanted to. This one comes close. The sad twig hanging down is pretty good, but it kind of gets lost in the background.
The purple are tiny petals that have fallen off the flowers above. There was a lot of purple. Both Prince and Donny Osmond were trying to outbid one another. o

Very nice shot. When you look at the picture larger, you can see the twig really well.
And I thought I was the only one that knew Donny Osmond loves purple

Wow — anything that reminds me of Donny Osmond and his purple socks gets a big thumbs up! I am remembering correctly that he once jumped through a piano in those purple socks (on the Donny and Marie show?)
