My favorite part is how observant-yet-coolly-detached Heather is in this video; she’s all, “Okay, while he’s grappling with the deeper meaning of that stupid chicken foot, are the pork dumplings making their way around the table to ME, for Chrissake? I am OUT OF SHRIMP!”

Is it just me, or is that chicken foot stare the same as Chuck’s at dinner time?

Mmmm chicken’s feet.

So did you ever eat it?
I have a problem eating anything that still looks like it did when it was attached to the “donor”. A fact I realized when I ordered red snapper once in Key West and it stared back at me when it arrived. They kindly removed the offending area for me but still couldn’t quite get past the glassy stare.
No food with a face…..er, feet.

The first time I took my husband for dim sum (Gold Mountain, San Francisco), he actually chose a plate of chicken feet and ate one. Said it was too much work for what he got. Then we hit Rasselas for Ethiopian food that night; he now refuses to go anywhere without a fork.
I have a great recipe for pork/shrimp dumplings and make dozens at a time - fabulous to freeze and make a good, quick dinner.

ewwww you should have a vegetarian ’spoiler alert’ LOL
OK so I can understand how/why people eat chicken, but chicken FEET? Hmm. You’ll certainly not turn me back with that one.
Btw I like chinese restaurants, most do awesome veggie food - there’s a fab place called the Red Panda in Belfast that I highly recommend to all

I think what’s freaking me out about it is, from the angle on the video, it looks more like a hand.

What I enjoy about this video is Heather laughing, then getting over it and sitting calmly next to you, waiting for you to finish your posing.

I’m impressed you even considered it for that long. After all, that’s the chicken part that spends most of it’s time in chicken poop.
