Now that I know I’m not an accidental hacker (!), I love this picture. It makes me feel small and completley intimidated. I love the ‘bars’ across the front. Very creepy. And I mean that in a good way.

Diebold is the maker of some rather controversial hackable electronic voting machines. Google them
My bet is that this is an ATM. Diebold also makes ATMs, bank safes, bank drivethru equipment and deposit boxes, drug lock boxes at hospitals (they are kind of like drug ATMs) and other things…
Considering that IBM made the identity cards and readers that made apartheid work in modern South Africa, I’d say you hit the nail on the head comparing them to Diebold.
And what, mat I ask, is wrong with decorating the walls with USB cords? Just because they weren’t made by some pencil necked high school electro-geek doesn’t mean they are not artistically valid.
